Mount Melsetter’s Karoo House offers the following Sporting Facilities:-
- Tennis on Melsetter Clay; a single clay surfaced tennis court.
- Volleyball on a grassed Volley Ball Court.
- Clay Target Shooting.
- Mountain Biking on trails around Mount Melsetter.
- Boule, or Pétanque.
- Table Tennis.
Off Mount Melsetter, but in the area, the following Sporting Activities can be arranged, by prior booking, through us:-
- River Rafting, with professional River Rafters on the Great Brak River, a permanent stream fed by the Gariep/Fish River Tunnel Scheme.
- Canoeing, on the Great Brak River. Canoeists will need to provide their own equipment, for reasonably challenging rapids on the Great Brak River, feeding into Grassridge Dam, from which the Fish River Canoe Marathon starts.
- Tubing on the Great Brak River.
