The horses at Mount Melsetter are very much part of the family, working members of the family. They are called-on to provide a game veiwing platform, company on an outride, and that particular atmosphere that only a horse can provide to any homestead. They are available for any of the above purposes to guests at Mount Melsetter, and even if you should just feel like a gallop around the paddock - look no further.

The selection of horses at Mount Melsetter requires a reasonable degree of skill, from well-schooled novice to expert. Tack is available, as are helmets and half-gaiters, but you are welcome to bring your own equipment. Grooms are on hand to assist with saddling, as are your hosts to advise and guide.
